The Foundation Mission
The non-profit Clearwater Camp Foundation has been formed in order to perpetuate Clearwater Camp as it has always been; to continue a more than 70-year tradition of offering girls and young women unique experiences and memories that continue to sustain and inspire them throughout their lives. Through our historic, multi-year $7.5 million Voyageur Campaign, the Clearwater Camp Foundation strives to:
- Purchase camp from the six current Clearwater Camp, Inc. shareholders
- Establish an endowment to help Clearwater Camp preserve its historic structures, like the charming footbridge and picturesque wooden cabins
- Forge meaningful new programs, such as scholarships for deserving young women who would benefit from an enriching summer experience along Tomahawk Lake
- Maintain the high levels of educational instruction and fun, character-building activities through a dedicated staff, including veteran Co-Directors Laurie and Perry Smith.
During this coming year, there is much more we need to do. Your participation matters as we work to grow our alumnae community. With your continued support, Clearwater Camp has a bright future that will draw from the strengths of its proud history, a love for new adventures and the will to make great things happen.
We appreciate whatever support you can provide—as a donor, volunteer or supporter. Please give what you can, so that this peace and quiet evermore shall stay. Together, we can continue to make our beloved camp a haven, each and every day.
