Dear Clearwater alumnae, friends and neighbors,

As we head into the New Year, the Clearwater Foundation and its many supporters can look back proudly to what we accomplished in 2007. Together, we have raised $2.7 million to ensure the bright future of Clearwater Camp. A total of more than 400 donors have stepped forward in ways great and small. As a result, early in the New Year, the Foundation is planning a closing on the camp, which will transition ownership to the Clearwater Camp Foundation.

While we can be proud of what we achieved in 2007, there is a lot more work ahead in 2008.

Because we will be taking out an approximately $1.5 million loan to close on the property, in 2008 we will need continued support to pay off our mortgage. If you haven’t done so already, please consider a year-end, tax-deductible gift to the Foundation. Help us spread the word by forwarding this email to other alumnae, friends and neighbors of Clearwater Camp.

This remains a wonderful time to give to the Foundation, as the Leadership Challenge is still in force, with approximately $250,000 in matching dollars remaining for any new gift. That ensures that your year-end gift will be doubled dollar for dollar.
