Dear Friends of the Clearwater Trail,

What a year we have had! With your continued support, we have raised a total of $2 million this past year – bringing us just a few paddle strokes away from the $2.5 million we need for the Foundation to acquire our beloved Clearwater Camp and create one of the nation’s premier non-profit camps!

Now, more than ever, we need your help to dig in and help us reach our first major deadline for the Voyageur Campaign! Beyond that, donations will continue to help Clearwater maintain strong financial footing for future generations.

First, with your help, the Clearwater Camp Foundation is indeed heading into a closing on the camp this fall.

Because the Clearwater Camp Foundation is the recipient of one family’s incredible $1 Million Challenge Grant for its campaign efforts, any new donation will be matched — dollar for dollar — up to a total gift of $1 million dollars.

Already, the Challenge has raised $600,000 in new donations and pledges. That means there is $400,000 more waiting to be matched by alumnae and supporters like you.

Participation matters at any level — and now there has never been a better time to be part of the Voyageur Campaign! Join hundreds of donors and have your gift doubled with the Leadership Challenge Grant!

As alumnae, families and neighbors, we understand Clearwater's value for current and future generations. Other camps in the area are also finding that the not-for-profit route will secure their future and are working to emulate Clearwater's own efforts. One of those camps is Red Pine, where alumnae quickly raised $10 million to prevent the camp from being developed.

It’s up to us to do the same. In total, our Voyageur Campaign will be a multi year, $7.5 million effort. We have more details about the campaign and our progress available on our Web site: http://www.clearwatercamp.org.
