Dear Clearwater Families,
We hope that you and your families are safe and healthy in this difficult time and want to assure you that we are planning for a variety of scenarios as we learn more about COVID-19 and how it will impact Clearwater. We are maintaining a flexible and positive outlook and can’t thank you enough for all your support!
At this time of year, we would normally be sending out invoices for tuition due. However, we are writing today to share the following information about how tuition deposits and payments will be handled in the coming months.
We are extending the date when tuition is due beyond the published April 15 date to a future date yet to be determined.
Once we have a better idea of how/when camp will open this summer, we will try our best to provide you with enough time to plan your family’s summer activities with an acceptable date for final payments.
If we are unable to open camp this summer, you will have the following options:
- We can send you a check to reimburse you for payments made or a percentage of payments made
- You can choose to defer all or a percentage of amounts paid to cover the 2021 camp season
- Or you can designate all or a percentage of amounts paid as a tax-deductible charitable contribution to Clearwater
Please know that staff and board are committed to Clearwater’s success and strength. We’ll keep communicating as the situation evolves and look forward to hearing from you.
