Nancy Wright Neumann

Board Treasurer
I am member of Clearwater’s storied Wright clan: Great aunt Tony Wright wrote many camp songs, and Tony’s daughters Jane and Sarah and granddaughters Kathy and Suzy Gillespie also attended Clearwater. My dad was a Camp Minocqua counselor in the 1960s, my aunt Mary Anderson Hill was a counselor at Clearwater, and my cousin, Chuck Wright, taught waterskiing. As for me, I was a waterskiing and waterfront instructor and a counselor on the Cape, the Point and a Leadership counselor. I remember Sunny coming to my Iowa home on recruiting trips and showing Clearwater slides in our family’s living room.
A graduate of Luther College with a BA in accounting, I went on to earn a master’s in finance from the University of Colorado. I currently work in finance and accounting for my family’s office supplies firm in Boulder, CO. Since 2007, I have also created and managed grant budgets for the University of Colorado. I also enjoy biking, skiing, swimming and hiking and volunteer at First Presbyterian Church in Boulder.
I am so excited to be a member of the Clearwater Foundation Board and look forward to helping to steer Clearwater in a way that allows camp to be a blessing to girls for years to come.
