Emily Gray

Cabin/Activity Counselor

Staff: 1st Year
Hometown: I grew up in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England but I moved to Liverpool, Merseyside when I was 18 for uni and have been living here ever since 🙂

Greetings everyone! I’m Emily and last year I graduated from Liverpool John Moore’s University studying Animal Behaviour (my graduation is actually today whilst typing this!). I loved every single bit of this course and its many trips to zoos :D. This year I decided to take a year out and work as a food store assistant at Community shop which helps deprived communities by selling deeply discounted healthy food. Alongside this I am a volunteer with the Wildlife Trust, carrying out conservation tasks and in my spare time I also enjoy walking people’s dogs, bike rides with picnics, hanging with friends in the sun, and singing karaoke plus taking hiking trips and visiting national parks. I am a massive nature lover and therefore I am ecstatic to get out there and experience Wisconsin’s northern woods, lakes, and wildlife!! I am so looking forward to meeting the campers and as a camp counselor I can’t wait to push myself and make sure they have a summer to remember 🙂
