Hello everyone! My name is Maddy and I grew up in Lake Forest, IL with my big family of siblings and dogs. I moved to Vermont in 2017 for College. At The University Of Vermont I received my bachelor’s and masters degrees in trauma-informed special education which led me to my current job as a behavioral aide for young kids suffering from emotional disturbances. Working with and seeing kids become their best selves fills me with pure joy and awe. Young people are amazing! When I am not with my students, I am on adventures with my dog, Bowie. She will be living at camp this summer! It has been a very long six years since I drove down the camp road, but I am so very excited for the opportunity I have been given to come back. I hope to make this summer one to remember. I am counting down the days!
