Being a staff member at Clearwater Camp is one of the most rewarding, and sometimes challenging, experiences you can have. Our activity and cabin staff help make the magic of camp come to life. Activity staff and cabin counselors are responsible for a cabin of 4 to 6 girls (in most cases) and provide dynamic instruction in an activity area that we determine based on skills and need. Click here for a list of our program areas.
The Activity/Cabin Counselor is responsible for guiding, supervising, and organizing campers in the cabin, in activities, on trips, and throughout camp in keeping with the values of Clearwater Camp. Cabin and activity counselors assist in the direction, supervision, and organization of campers in the cabin and on overnight wilderness trips; maintain high standards of health and safety throughout camp for campers and staff; develop and deliver program that is fun, engaging, and appropriate for the age and ability of campers; manage and care for the physical facilities and equipment in cabin and activity area.
