Hometown: I grew up in Arauca/Colombia. Now, i live in Bogotá/Colombia.
I’m Natalia. I’m from Colombia. I grew up in the Colombian countryside, and my parents are cocoa farmers. Currently, I live in Bogotá. I studied Nutrition and Dietetics at the National University of Colombia, and a month ago, I graduated as a Nutritionist-Dietitian. I’m passionate about pediatric nutrition, and next year, I hope to start my master’s degree in Pediatric Nutrition.
During university, I was part of the women’s soccer team, playing as a full-back. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, running, eating, and spending time with my friends. I love traveling, the ocean, and watching documentaries about marine life.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in several pediatric hospitals, as well as in communities near Bogotá. I also worked with Save the Children, supporting pregnant women and children.
This will be my first summer in the United States, and I’m excited that it’s in Clearwater. I hope it’s an opportunity to express my passion for children, share my knowledge and skills with the campers and staff, and create a positive impact while having a fun and enjoyable summer.
I hope this will be a space for personal growth, making friends, learning about American culture, and of course, improving my skills in working with children.
