“Those Who Have Taken Their Last Portage” was created many years ago to remember and honor Clearwater alums who passed away. We learn about alums through the Clearwater network of family and friends, who may let us know or make gifts in their memories. For these tributes, we use materials including their published obituaries and other remembrances from family and friends. Please contact Clearwater if there is an alumna you would like remembered by the camp community.

This was formerly published in our annual newsletter, The Voyageur. As of November 2022, these tributes will become a permanent part of our website so that we can provide this information to our community in a more timely way. We have added the tributes from our 2021 Voyageur to this new format so that you may learn how this will be presented from this day forward.
