Thanks & Updates from Clearwater Camp

At this special time of year, Clearwater thanks all of you. It is you who keep the campfires burning.

Thank you campers for your excitement, sense of wonder, laughter; staff for your time, skills and passion; parents for your trust and commitment; everyone for preserving traditions, sharing memories, supporting camp financially.

We also want to share some Good News!

2022 Enrollment: First session is nearly full and there is now a waitlist for second session.

Staff Recruitment: Clearwater alums Kaitlin Close and Kat Bramley are spearheading the effort. 2022 applications are now available online.

New Director Search: A Search Team consisting of many generations and representing a variety of Clearwater connections and perspectives (board, staff, camper, parent, AAT, etc.) has been formed to create and implement a search process for Clearwater’s Camp Director. More information will be coming out soon.

American Camp Association: Clearwater has been ACA Accredited since 1954. Clearwater alum, Tracy Smith Graham will head up our accreditation team and 2022 ACA site visit.

2021 Voyageur: More news and updates will be in your mailboxes soon. For those of you who prefer an electronic version, you will be notified in the next week when it is available.

Holiday Giving Opportunities: We ended our fiscal year on October 31, 2021 in good financial shape. However, we will always need our community’s support to ensure programming, training, staffing, buildings and grounds are the highest quality for our campers. Financial contributions also make it possible to provide the Clearwater experience to campers who otherwise would not have this opportunity through our Campership Program.

Our 6th annual #GivingLoonsDay on Tuesday, November 30 will be led by Clearwater alums Margaux Boles, Amanda Dunaway, and Adrienne Testa. We hope you will consider making a donation before the end of the year.
